7.2-channel Slimline Home Theater Receiver with Dolby Atmos®, Bluetooth®, Apple® AirPlay® 2, and Amazon Alexa Compatibility

If you ever wanted a Marantz home theater receiver but didn't have the space for one of their larger offerings, check out the Cinema 70s.
This slimline, 8K-compatible receiver can power up to seven speakers at the same time, yet it fits into spaces where a conventional receiver may be too tall.

A slim, problem-solving receiver with big sound
With the flexible 70s, you can power your 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos system. Or go with a 5.1-channel home theater and power an additional pair of speakers in another room at the same time. Or if you prefer, you can use those extra two channels to bi-amp your front right and left speakers for a powerful front soundstage.

Multiple 8K connections join outstanding audio features
The previous generation of Marantz receivers introduced limited 8K connections. The 70s expands that capability, offering 8K/60Hz support on three of its six HDMI inputs, along with 8K output. All the HDMI inputs are 4K/120 Hz source-compatible, perfect for the latest gaming consoles. Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) lets you pass full-resolution surround sound signals from your TV to your receiver.

Plenty of power for your compact system
The Cinema 70s uses a high-current, discrete power amplifier for each of its seven channels, resulting in powerful, precise sound. 50 watts per channel may not sound like a lot on paper, but you'll have enough for small-to-medium sized rooms. Or, if you want more, connect a separate amplifier (sold separately) to the 7.2-channel preamp outputs.

Enjoy music from a variety of sources
The Cinema 70s isn't just a great choice for watching movies — it's fantastic with music, too.
Stream tunes from your phone or tablet through Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay 2. Or use the built-in phono input for your turntable. You can even play high-resolution tracks from a USB drive or networked computer. With Pure Direct mode, you'll get rich, accurate music playback that brings your favorite artist's vision to life.

Expand your system with HEOS Built-in
Access your streaming music sources through the 70s with HEOS Built-in technology. Play songs from your personal library, listen to internet radio stations, or stream popular services like Pandora®, Spotify®, and TIDAL.
With the HEOS app, you can also integrate the Cinema 70s into a wireless multi-room audio system with compatible speakers or streaming components. The app lets you control playback, browse music sources, and select which rooms you want to use. Play the same music throughout your home, or listen to something different in each room. Check out this hands-on review of a few HEOS-enabled speakers to learn more about how this platform works.

Advanced room calibration
The Cinema 70s includes Audyssey MultEQ® — one of the industry's best room-correction platforms.
Audyssey measures the acoustics of your room with the included microphone, and then fine-tunes the output of your system to best match the unique sonic characteristics of your space. The resulting sound is clear, smooth, and dynamic, with tight bass.
