AVS Reed Switch
If you have a ute with a canopy we recommend fitting a magnetic reed switch. A reed switch will trigger the alarm if its two halves are parted while the car alarm is armed. So one side is mounted on the canopy and one on the ute. AVS also has a wireless reed switch that can be used in conjunction with the AVS RXPRO receiver where it is not possible to run wires through the vehicle. This sensor can be added as an optional upgrade to any AVS alarm.
