Waterproof Remote for AVS 3010 range For these alarms AVS 3010, 5000 (433 Mhz) Requirements for coding: For the AVS 3010 car alarm: the PIN code. For the AVS 5000 car alarm: either an existing working remote or the PIN code. Battery type needed: 2 x CR1616 button batteries per remote (included). Programming new remotes for AVS 3010 car alarm The AVS 3010 uses rolling code remotes. The system can have up to three remotes coded at anytime. 1.- Disarm alarm (if no remotes are present use the PIN code), open and close door. TIP: If the car has interior light delay you may have to wait until the light fades out before continuing. 2.- Within 30 seconds enter the PIN code by turning ignition key from OFF to ON and back to OFF(eg turn from OFF to ON to OFF 5 times for factory set PIN.) 3.- Wait 15 seconds, if the PIN was entered correctly the indicators will flash five times to indicate code learn mode. If not start again from 1. 4.- Press the Closed Padlock button on new remote(s), alarm will chirp once for each remote to be coded in (maximum of three). NOTE: Any existing remotes will need to be recoded at this time.Entering Remote programming mode will delete all remotes from system. 5.- The system will exit after 20 seconds. Programming new remotes for AVS 5000i 1.- Arm then disarm alarm and open and close driver's door. If the alarm is armedor immobilised, disarm using the PIN code. 2.- Within 30 seconds of disarming turn ignition switch from OFF to ACC and back 20 times, leaving it in OFF position. 3.- Wait 30 seconds, if the 20 turns have been entered correctly the indicators will flash three times to confirm system has entered code learning mode. If it does not flash start again from 1. 4.- Press button 1 of each new transmitter in turn. The system will chirp once to confirm each transmitter. 5.- The system will automatically exit after 20 seconds. NOTE: IF NO VALID REMOTES ARE AVAILABLE AND THE SYSTEM IS ARMED IT WILL NEED TO BE DISARMED USING THE PIN CODE BEFORE CODING IN NEW REMOTES.
